Fernando Rodríguez.

My name is Fernando Rodríguez, and I found in photography my way of communicating what sometimes words cannot express. My path began in the days of analogue photography, with a Nikon lent to me by a friend, and since then I have discovered in the art of the image a language of my own to transmit emotions and capture the beauty hidden in the details.

Through my photographs, I want to offer a refuge, a moment of serenity for those who contemplate them. Each image is a window into a world where nature speaks in whispers and reveals its essence in the most subtle moments. For me, true beauty is found in the simple, in those details that seem ephemeral but which, when captured, become eternal.

Landscape photography is my greatest passion, a constant search for moments when light becomes magic, transforming the world into a unique setting. Over time, my style has evolved towards simplicity: I shy away from stridency and excessive colours, preferring discreet editing that respects the authenticity of each place. Each shot is an attempt to capture an unrepeatable moment, a special atmosphere, a corner where nature shows itself in all its grandeur.

I find inexhaustible inspiration in painting, especially in Caravaggio's handling of light and dark, in the enveloping light of Sorolla, in the vibrant colours of impressionists like Monet and in the realism of Velázquez. In photography, José Benito Ruiz has been a key reference; his talent and generosity as a teacher marked a turning point in my work. I also admire photographers such as Julio Castro Pardo, Iván Ferrero and Javier de la Torre, who, with their own vision, enrich this art.
